The Teacher Training course is now split into two parts - the JWAAD Foundation course and the JWAAD Diploma course. The Foundation course covers safety and anatomy and is a pre-requisite to doing the main Diploma course.
This is aimed at people who are already teaching or are considering teaching and want to ensure they are doing so safely.
You are expected to be able to execute basic moves clearly in order to teach them but do not have to be of a high technical level. You can opt to do the course without assessment if you are just doing it for yourself, or with assessment if you need to achieve the certificate either for MADN insurance or to go onto the JWAAD Diploma course. In order to be accepted on the JWAAD Diploma course, you have to pass the Foundation course.

This is aimed at people who want to develop their own dance & deepen their knowledge & understanding of all aspects of Egyptian Dance. It also improves leadership and teaching skills and provides an opportunity to network and exchange ideas.
To qualify to register on this course, you have to have at least 2 years’ dance experience and be of intermediate or higher standard. If you are interested, let the tutors on the Foundation course know and they will advise you if you are of a suitable level.
